Burning Tire Effects in the Community: air, soil, and water pollution, irritation of eyes and skin, can cause cancer, fire hazard, and foul, burning tire smell.


PROTECT YOURSELF FROM TOXIC FUMES


  1. Stay indoors when possible

  2. Wear N95 face mask when outdoors

  3. Go see a doctor if you have symptoms of respiratory illness

  4. Call 911 if you have shortness of breath, chest pain, confusion, lightheadedness, excessive fatigue or weakness, nausea or vomiting
